Destination wedding ceremony in the Tbilisi Botanical Garden

Client request

An outdoor wedding ceremony in a scenic Tbilisi location, a full wedding day for two, and documents prepared for use in France.

The approach we took for this client

Caitlin is a citizen of France, and Miroslav is a citizen of the USA.
Their wedding in Tbilisi was held as an intimate outdoor ceremony for just the two of them—without guests. The couple chose this format deliberately: it was important for them not only to legalize their marriage but to experience a beautiful, calm, and festive day, fully entrusting the organization to professionals.

Venue and format
The ceremony took place in the Tbilisi Botanical Garden, where an elegant decorative arch was created for the couple. The photoshoot was held across several locations:

  • At the hotel
  • Along the central streets of Tbilisi
  • Within the Botanical Garden grounds

Turnkey organization
We took full responsibility for the wedding organization:

  • Hotel booking
  • Morning preparations at the hotel
  • Bridal styling (selection and consultation with our in-house stylist)
  • Selection of the bouquet and boutonniere
  • Private transfers for the couple

Professional photoshoot

Outdoor ceremony with an official registrar from the Public Service Hall. The ceremony was official, not symbolic, resulting in a legally binding marriage certificate. To enhance the celebratory atmosphere, we provided a host and a sound engineer. After the ceremony, the newlyweds enjoyed a wedding dinner at Olives Restaurant, a panoramic venue on the top floor of the Swissôtel Tbilisi, overlooking the city at night.

Legal specifics
It was crucial for Caitlin and Miroslav to receive a marriage certificate that is fully legal in France. We accounted for the fact that in their city of residence, an apostille alone is insufficient—additional legalization at the French Embassy is required.

Our team:

  • Processed the marriage certificate with an apostille.
  • Completed the legalization procedure at the French Embassy in Georgia.
  • Sent the final documents to France via courier so the couple didn’t have to wait for them in Tbilisi.

Solving Operational Challenges
Since the wedding took place on a very hot day, we anticipated every detail for the couple’s comfort:

  • Private air-conditioned transfers between all locations.
  • Sun umbrellas.
  • Chilled drinking water, carried by the coordinator throughout the entire photoshoot.
