Intimate wedding in a prestigious Tbilisi restaurant

Client request
A wedding for 20 guests of various nationalities in a panoramic city restaurant, with marriage documents prepared for the European Union and Malaysia.
The approach we took for this client
Aziza and Yan live in Latvia. Aziza is a citizen of Tajikistan, and Yan is a citizen of Malaysia. To ensure their marriage was officially recognized, they required documentation suitable for both Latvia and Malaysia. The wedding was held in Tbilisi. The official registration took place at Wedding Palace №2, one of the most popular venues among our couples due to its stylish modern interior and convenient location.
The ceremony was attended by approximately 20 guests, including relatives and close friends.
Photoshoot
The photoshoot was organized over two days, as the bride wished to have different looks.
- Day 1: Shooting took place in Old Tbilisi, near the historic sulfur baths and at the Metekhi Temple viewpoint.
- Day 2: Capturing the morning preparations at the hotel, the ceremony at the Wedding Palace, a walk along Rustaveli Avenue, and the celebration at the restaurant.
The wedding dinner
For the celebration, the couple chose Kopala, a scenic restaurant in the heart of Old Tbilisi. Its terrace offers a panoramic view of the city, which served as a stunning backdrop for more photos.
Our full team was on-site: a photographer, a videographer, and a reels maker. We also handled the wedding cake, bridal styling, bouquet and boutonniere, and dinner decor. As a special gift from our agency, we arranged live music during the cake-cutting ceremony—a moment that was particularly cherished by the newlyweds and their guests.
Documents and legalization
We prepared two sets of documents to meet the specific requirements of each country:
- For Latvia: A marriage certificate with translation and an Apostille, as Latvia is a member of the Hague Convention.
- For Malaysia: A marriage certificate with Consular Legalization.

For Malaysia, we completed the first stage of legalization in Georgia by obtaining a stamp from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Subsequently, through our partners, the documents were sent to the Malaysian Embassy in Baku, Azerbaijan, for full consular legalization. Once completed, the marriage certificate was delivered to the couple in Latvia via courier service.
