A “turnkey” Georgian-style wedding for 50 guests, including all necessary documents for Germany.
The approach we took for this client
Alena and Nikita are citizens of Ukraine and Russia residing in Germany. They required a marriage certificate fully legalized for use in Germany. Their wedding took place in Tbilisi, seamlessly blending a formal official ceremony with a grand festive celebration.
The ceremony
The official marriage registration was held at the Wedding Palace on Mtatsminda Mountain. A unique feature of this venue is the individual booking system: the palace opens exclusively for a specific couple. Additionally, it is the only Wedding Palace in Tbilisi officially permitted to host a celebratory reception for guests, which we organized immediately following the ceremony. The wedding was attended by 50 guests.
Photoshoot
The photoshoot for the couple and their guests took place at Tbilisi’s most iconic and scenic locations:
- Mtatsminda Mountain;
- The Sameba Cathedral area;
- The Metekhi viewpoint;
- The grounds of the restaurant where the wedding dinner was held.
The wedding dinner
The celebratory dinner was hosted at “Ethno Tsiskvili,” a renowned Georgian restaurant featuring vast green grounds and authentic traditional cuisine.
Turnkey organization
We managed the entire event as a full turnkey service, including:
- Bridal morning preparations
- Hotel and city-wide photoshoots
- Organization of the formal ceremony
- Transfers for the couple and all guests
- Professional photography and videography
- Bridal bouquet and groom’s boutonniere
- Banquet hall decor
- Traditional Georgian dance performance
- Professional host and sound engineer.
The evening concluded with a spectacular fireworks display.
Style
There was no strict dress code. The couple consciously chose to forgo stylistic restrictions, allowing their guests the freedom to choose their own outfits and express themselves comfortably.
On-Site Coordination
When managing a large number of guests, we always scale up our team by bringing in additional coordinators. This is particularly vital for destination weddings where guests often feel inspired to wander and explore the surroundings.
For example, during Alena and Nikita’s ceremony on Mtatsminda, despite having scheduled time for sightseeing, one guest lost track of time and wandered off. Thanks to our extra coordinator, the situation was resolved instantly—the guest was quickly located and escorted back before the ceremony began, ensuring zero delays or stress for the couple.
