To proceed with the wedding ceremony, both partners must have valid international passports. You will need to send us high-quality scans of these documents so our specialists can begin the paperwork. We handle the translation into Georgian and ensure all documents are notarized. If you plan to have friends or relatives act as witnesses during the official ceremony, their passports must be prepared in the same manner. In certain cases, additional documentation may be required; our specialist will walk you through these specific requirements during your online consultation.
The choice of venue depends on the style of celebration you prefer. At the Public Service Hall in Tbilisi or Batumi, the process works as follows: the organizer files the application and documents alongside the couple. Once processed, a notification is sent to the wedding organizer’s phone. The couple then returns for the registration, which is held in a formal setting without a scheduled time slot. Please note that professional photo and video sessions are not permitted inside this facility.

Here, the ceremony is held with musical accompaniment and a speech by the registrar. Newlyweds can perform their first dance and invite photographers and videographers to capture these moving moments. The application is also filed with your organizer, but unlike the Public Service Hall, you can select a specific time for your registration.
From the moment you receive your marriage certificate, your legal status as a married couple is recognized within Georgia. For your marriage to be legally recognized in your home country, the document must undergo either an apostille or a legalization process. Each country has its own specific requirements.
